The transformation of a seasonal hotel complex into a year-round facility meant the aggregation of several innovative activities and the conversion of the thus combined spaces in order to receive diversified users. The needing for the design of a swimming pool with sauna, an ice-skating ring and a lounge-bar led to the re-thinking of the circulation and access system of the building, and from there to the addition of the new elements as replaceable plug-ins which respond to seasonal inputs. Restrictions in the usability of external spaces have introduced a higher level of complexity in the organization of the relational spaces.
